When The Cornice Store offered to let me try out their kits, I jumped on it!
Please keep your seat belt buckled and your arms inside the windows at all times.Just duck out of the way if you see one of the walls starting to crumble above you.
You think I’m joking. So here’s what it looks like on the property around the house.. It’s beautiful and peaceful and a great place to escape the madness and mess going on inside sometimes.. We recently finished up a mini deck recycle/renovation, so now we have a great place to enjoy the view.. Here’s how it looked before:.You can read more about that project.
.. Next we’ll move inside.. Last Summer, I wrote a post called.“How to Love Your Ugly Kitchen”.
, in which I poked fun at the fact that my kitchen has these bright orange wood cabinets that are.
not my thing.. A lot of readers asked me why I didn’t just go ahead and paint my cabinets. We left our project clamped for about 2 or 3 hours and then we had a nice, straight, flat panel!.
…or so I thought.Chris always likes to be extra sure so he added in a few shim in the back to hold the stainless steel extra straight..
He was actually able to apply adhesive behind each of those shims and have them hold right onto the surface of the stainless steel, so that really helped give him peace of mind. And here’s another picture of the clamping process.
