It just sat there collecting dust.. Now I’ll have an occasion to use it every year at Halloween!.
I mop the floors on Wednesdays.Laundry happens everyday.
Most days I get a little baking in and I always have a nice square meal on the table at 5:45pm when Chris gets home..The hard part is in all the little grey areas. They nag and annoy like a sort-of scratchy tag in the side of a new shirt that isn’t quite scratchy enough to go get the scissors and cut out right now.
Is this how it’s supposed to be?Is this the right way to be a mom/wife/home-maker/house-keeper?
Unlike being at work, there’s no boss to tell you “good job.” There aren’t any co-workers to measure yourself against.
You just have to know.If you’ve decided to click over and read this post, chances are you’re a mom too and I’m going to assume you totally “get” all that I’ve just shared and no disclaimer is needed.
If this is your life too right now, then I’m saying “hang in there” for the both of us.I’ve been through this once before and I know I’ll get to the other side of the chaos eventually!
Let’s just try and enjoy it a little for what it is too though, K?.If you caught yourself chuckling a little at my expense, then you’re welcome.I had to share this extra simple recipe with you today.
